Community Supported Agriculture CSA's

Would you like to buy food raised in your area on a small farm? Consider joining a CSA. Members pay a farmer upfront, usually by April, for crops to be raised throughout the growing season. Generally, weekly shares of produce are distributed by the farmer from mid May to October. Some CSA's offer food into Dec. Check with the specific farmer to find out such details as what produce they are growing, when to expect the produce, various share plans they offer.
